Representative Assignments for GRP
- For a system integration company, GRP evaluated the potential for some of the client's
software to evolve beyond re-usable tools. This software was in the areas of call routing,
agent desktop environments, and customer relationship databases.
- For a start-up software company, completed an extensive assignment over a 15 month
period which involved a number of issues of general corporate strategy as well as sales
and marketing. Involved in helping the company raise venture capital, and for about 3
months was essentially a part time acting VP of Marketing while the company finished a
search for a permanent VP of Sales and Marketing.
- For a fast-growing software company about a year from a successful IPO, GRP completed
several assignments. The first focused primarily on sales and marketing strategy and
tactics, but also addressed some more general issues of company strategy. A second
assignment looked at issues of market sizing and segmentation. The third dealt with
operating system strategies and the strategic implications of choice of operating system.
- For a medium-sized software company, GRP worked on a number of assignments over
the course of about 16 months. These included work on strategy development and
market sizing, on product marketing issues, and work in preparation for a possible IPO.
- For an entrepreneur starting an information and electronic commerce company (Web-based
supply chain management, customer service, and sales force automation applications), GRP
helped with a major revision to the business plan for the company, and provided assistance
in raising venture capital.
